Angela Essing's love for both competition and the outdoors resulted in many years of mountain bike racing, trail running, hiking 14ers, kayaking, snowboarding, golfing and road biking.  About twenty years ago she discovered yoga as a good winter conditioning tool and today has evolved to a daily yogi who loves to share her practice with others.  Her certification as a yoga teacher is through CorePower’s Yoga Teacher Training Program, an exceptionally practical and comprehensive study of the Eight Limbs of Yoga.   Angela says that, “My training was a very emotional experience, dramatically empowering and life altering.”  She takes something from her training and travels through the world  (Rishikesh, India; Thimphu, Bhutan; Indian Embassy in Mexico City) and leaves it with her students at every class in a caring, energetic and loving way.  She has taught so many amazing people in private lessons, corporate programs and small and large group classes.

May your path in life cross one of Angela’s classes.

Andrea Oswald's yoga journey started nearly 11 years ago in a tiny room that was turned into a small yoga studio for an hour.  "I have always had a passion for health and wellness and almost always have participated in various fitness programs.  Soon after I added a weekly yoga class to my routine, I was hooked." she noted.  She realized early on that her body felt better after yoga.  At that time, while in the midst of raising toddlers and young children, yoga was an excellent adjunct to the running and more vigorous exercises she was doing.  "Yoga not only improved my flexibility, balance and strength, it provided stress reduction through breathing techniques and relaxation."   She joined Laura Horan to teach yoga classes at the MAC Center in Manson in 2017 and at Anytime Fitness in Fort Dodge in 2018.  Andrea enjoys teaching power yoga and power sculpt classes but also appreciates the benefit of Yin and restorative classes. She has completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training.  In addition, she and her husband Dan are busy with four children Cael (16), Preslie (15), Thatcher (12) and Hayden (9).  "In the summer we enjoy outside activities including boating, kayaking, and wake surfing."
